A self-funded association of veterans with a goal to honor and preserve the history of the paratroopers and glider men of America’s airborne forces by memorializing the sacrifices they have made. We will do this by conducting a parachute jump into Normandy as they did 75 years ago, this time in peace, to further develop the common bond which exists among paratroopers.

The unit is planning to raise funds to finance portions of event, to include acquiring the aircraft and equipment necessary for the jump, though other portions of the event must be funded by the individual participant.

More than 800 veteran paratroopers have already volunteered to honor the paratroopers of the Greatest Generation by planning and preparing to conduct the first of many memorial parachute operations in honor of the parachute assaults made by those brave men.
